TECHNOLOGICAL SUITABILITY OF COMPAC CONTAINERS

How and where to use Compac containers.

Contenitore AG50T trasparente Compac in Polipropilene (PP)
Containers in PP (POLYPROPYLENE): features and use methods
  • High elasticity which make them safe from breakage during handling and transport;
  • Strong seal and leak-proof;
  • Excellent resistance to aggressive chemical agents, to organic and inorganic substances (including oil, fat, etc…) and an excellent physiological behaviour (odourless, flavourless);
  • Suitable for reheating in the microwave at +110 °C;
  • Suitable for storage in the refrigerator but we advise to avoid the freezer for risk of breakage during impacts or handling.
Contenitore V45GCN08 nero Compac in CARTONCINO+PET (CA+PET)
Containers in CA+PET (CARDBOARD + POLYETHYLENE TEREPHTHALATE): features and use methods
  • good mechanical properties (abrasion resistance, flexural strength, etc … );
  • high elasticity which make them safe from breakage during handling and transport;
  • excellent resistance to aggressive chemical agents, to organic and inorganic substances (including oil, fat, etc…) and an excellent physiological behaviour (odourless, flavourless);
  • suitable for reheating in microwave ovens or traditional ovens up to +200 °C for 60 minutes;
  • suitable to be used for cooking by the consumer only if subsequent to the heat-sealing of the package with READY TO COOK food in a microwave and traditional oven up to + 200 °C for 60 minutes;
  • suitable for frozen food down to a minimum temperature of -40 °C.

Containers in APET (POLYETHYLENE TEREPHTHALATE): features and use methods
  • high transparency;
  • excellent resistance to aggressive chemical agents and to organic and inorganic substances (including oils, fats, etc …) and have excellent physiological behavior (odorless, tasteless);
  • high elasticity which makes them absolutely safe from the danger of breakage during handling or transport;
  • provide a high barrier to food gases;
  • suitable to be used for freezing food up to a minimum temperature of -40 °C;
  • when collected they can be recycled or incinerated.

Containers in CPET (CRYSTALLIZED POLYETHYLENE TEREPHTHALATE): features and use methods
  • suitable for pasteurization processes;
  • excellent resistance to aggressive chemical agents and to organic and inorganic substances (including oils, fats, etc …) and have excellent physiological behavior (odorless, tasteless);
  • high elasticity which makes them absolutely safe from the danger of breakage during handling or transport;
  • provide a high barrier to food gases;
  • suitable to be used for heating food in a microwave oven and traditional oven up to + 180 °C for 30 minutes;
  • suitable to be used for freezing food up to a minimum temperature of -40 °C;
  • can pass directly from the freezer to the ovens;
  • when collected they can be recycled or incinerated.

Containers in ALc (ALUMINIUM SMOOTH WALL): features and use methods
  • suitable for pasteurization and sterilization processes;
  • excellent resistance to aggressive chemical agents and organic and inorganic substances (including oils, fats, etc …) and excellent physiological behavior (odorless, tasteless);
  • provide the best possible barrier to food gases;
  • suitable to be used for cooking and heating food in a microwave oven and a traditional oven up to + 200 °C for 60 minutes;
  • can be used for cooking food up to + 200 °C for 60 minutes and can subsequently be heat-sealed (heat-sealable tray);
  • suitable to be used for freezing food up to a minimum temperature of -40 °C;
  • can pass directly from the freezer to the ovens.

Containers in PLA (POLYLACTIC ACID): features and use methods
  • high transparency;
  • excellent resistance to aggressive chemical agents and to organic and inorganic substances (including oils, fats, etc …) and have excellent physiological behavior (odorless, tasteless);
  • high elasticity which makes them absolutely safe from the danger of breakage during handling or transport;
  • the temperature range of use is between 0 °C and + 40 °C;
  • can be completely recycled or disposed of in composting stations;
  • the PLA containers, BIODEGRADABLE and COMPOSTABLE, comply with the criteria of the TÜV AUSTRIA certification referring to the European standard UNI EN 13432.

  • suitable to be used for heating food in a microwave oven and a traditional oven up to + 200 °C for 30 minutes;
  • suitable to be used for cooking by the consumer only if subsequent to the heat-sealing of the package with READY TO COOK food in a microwave and traditional oven up to + 200 °C for 30 minutes;
  • suitable to be used for freezing food up to a minimum temperature of -40 °C;
  • can be completely recycled or disposed of in composting stations;
  • the CA + PLA containers comply with the criteria of the FSC® Certification System which ensures that raw materials, such as pure cellulose fiber, come from forests managed correctly and responsibly, confirming Compac’s environmental and social respect;
  • RECYCLABLE CONTAINERS WITH PAPER – ATICELCA® 501 – level A;
  • The BIODEGRADABLE and COMPOSTABLE CA + PLA containers comply with the criteria of the TÜV AUSTRIA certification referring to the European standard UNI EN 13432.
Contenitore VP45GU Compac in Polpa di cellulosa
Containers in PULP (CELLULOSE PULP): features and use methods
  • excellent resistance to aggressive chemical agents and organic and inorganic substances (including oils, fats, etc …) and excellent physiological behavior (odorless, tasteless);
  • suitable to be used for heating food in a microwave oven up to 800 W for 3 minutes, and in a traditional oven up to +175 °C for 30 minutes;
  • suitable to be used for freezing food up to a minimum temperature of -25 °C;
  • can pass directly from the freezer to the ovens;
  • CELLULOSE PULP containers are produced using naturally biodegradable material from renewable sources.
