Our Containers in CPET are heat-sealable and can be used to pack any kind of food.
About 1.6 billion tons of food is wasted every year in the world (Fao data), a third of global food production. We must add to this number the additional problems of environmental impact: wasting food means as well wasting the resources used to produce it: energy, water and land.
For this reason, the UN has included among the Sustainable Development Goals of the 2030 Agenda “Objective 12 – Target 12.3” which provides to “halve global food waste per capita by retail and consumption by 2030, as well as to reduce food losses along the production and supply chain”.
The use of single portion containers can be one of the strategies and ways to prevent food waste.
For people who live on their own or in small families, one of the good practices for a daily life with a reduced waste production is to buy just the food that they are sure to eat. You can benefit from single portion containers, avoiding throwing in the trash expired food that it has not been eaten in time.
Furthermore, the need of containers with a dimension who can allow the flexibility in portioning for take away and delivery is increasing, thus avoiding food waste.
Containers in CPET (crystallized polyethylene terephthalate) are heat-sealable and forms the COMPAC’s system, combined with the COMPAC’s heat-sealer machine and film reels.

The information of composition, disposal and operating instructions are given on the bottom of the container.
The container D65PB can be used in freezer down to a minimum temperature of -40°C and can go straight away from freezer to oven.
It can be used to heat food in microwave and traditional oven up to a temperature of +180°C for 30 minutes.
It allows to pack READY TO EAT food for the subsequent cooking in traditional oven by the consumer up to +180°C for 30 minutes.
It can be brought straight away to the oven to the table thanks to its instantaneous heat dissipation. It does not burn and does not deform.
It owns a high barrier to food grade gases. It allows packaging in modified atmosphere combined with COMPAC’s C26 heat sealer machine.
If they are properly collected, they can be recycled. They are fully aligned to the concept of circular economy: the economy line who start with the extraction of resources must not ends with waste, but it has to keep materials and products in the economic circuit for as long as possible.
