Our Company

COMPAC S.r.l. was founded in 1995 by a group of people and distribution companies operating in the packaging sector on the national territory.

The C1 model dates back to 1996, the first Heat Sealer Machine conceived, designed and manufactured by Compac.

For over 25 years, Compac has led the way in the packaging sector, placing customers first through continuous innovation. In Compac we operate with the aim of offering reliable technology that can make a difference in terms of simplifying the packaging processes. Simple solutions for the production process.

To date, approximately 10.000 Heat Sealers Machines are installed.

With the initial intent to turn to Supermarket Chains, since the 2000s COMPAC  has then extended its offer to the sectors of Catering, Food Laboratories, Traditional Food Trade (delicatessens, butchers, bread-pastry, fruit and vegetables, fishmongers).

The current location was inaugurated in 2004, and was expanded in 2017 covering an area of ​​approximately 6.000 square meters.

In 2005, the need was felt to further develop the Compac system to allow better preservation of the products and extend their shelf life. In pursuing this goal, Compac has developed a new range of Heat Sealer Machines for packaging in a modified atmosphere (MAP).

Compac, a company that has always been sensitive to environmental issues, supports the production of energy from renewable sources. During the year 2017 we have installed a photovoltaic system in our factory. Compac has defined a “GREEN” line of Biocompostable products (Containers in PLA, Containers in Cardboard + PLA, Biodegradable and Compostable film reels)  made with clean, accessible and self-sufficient energy, concretely reducing the polluting impact of the energy system, improving production connections with the environment and preserving environmental resources.

Certifications

Occupational Health and Safety Management System

In 2019 Compac obtained ISO 45001:2018 Certification, with the aim of managing workplace safety included in the corporate strategy and integrated with quality and environmental policies, to improve performance and project the company towards a new model of sustainable competitiveness.

Environmental Management System

In 2011 Compac has obtained the Certification ISO 14001:2015, fixing the requirements for an environmental management system and shows that the company has an appropriate management system to monitor the environmental impacts of its business and seeks improvement.

Food Safety Management System

In 2014 Compac has obtained the Certification ISO 22000:2005, which defines the requirements for the design and implementation of a Food Safety Management System.

Quality Management System

In 2003 the Company has obtained the Certification ISO 9001:2015, which defines the requirements for the implementation of a Quality Management System and has as its objective the optimization of corporate organizational structure, responding to the increase of effectiveness internal processes.

Compac has always consciously and responsibly carried out its activities in full respect of the environment. It is unthinkable for us to talk about growth and development without thinking about the issue of environmental protection, which represents not only a variable to be taken into consideration in normal business management, but an important value in our way of doing business.
